These two pictures show Zane’s spelling the words he sees.
These two words are seen on TV.
Noticed that he mixed the Hi 5 with flash cards and foam number?
He does do this mix and match, like a wooden “H” with a plastic “I” and a number 5 card. But I know as far as he can, he tries to source for the same materials.
Well, he has the habit of peeling, tearing or throwing things, so all his stuffs are incomplete. And yet, he can make do with whatever is available and improvise. Who taught him all that? No one. I always believe my son is highly intelligent despite of his learning challenge. His problem solving skills and determination supercede any 6 year olds.
Dear Zane’s teachers, hope these bring smiles to you and brighten your day.
This is what I found him doing yesterday.
I confiscated the coloured balls in the bathroom. Zane didn’t create a storm over that. He calmly took out the gears from his gear set. He only took the round gears.
And … he was quiet for a long while.
Then he came out of the bathroom laughing happily.
As long as the things he brings into the bathroom are waterproof, I am fine.
Then, when I went in for my shower. Ta-da !! This was what I saw !!
May not mean anything to parents with normal children, but this means A LOT TO ME !!
Yeah ….
quickly took a shot ….

Z is for Zane. These are the gears from a gear-set. He put the gears together to form the letter.
